Powder Room
“Do you think you’ll be finished soon?” is a question I have asked about 800 times in the last 10 years. When you are under 6 years old there is no such thing as being hurried, especially when it comes to using the toilet. Multiply that by 2 and now you know how I spend much of my time. There are about 1 million things in a public bathroom that little girls can find interesting without even mentioning the fascination with running water in the sink.
Last year on February 7th, Verizon announced that it would be carrying the iphone. I am a huge Apple fan and like a complete nerd, got up at 5 am to preorder my iphone.
So, camera in hand and plenty of time to linger around ladies rooms I challenged myself to find amusing and intriguing things about the bathrooms I was in. I also managed to embarrass my daughters in public quite a few times when people asked me what exactly I was doing.
These are some of the more interesting images I captured.

I used the iphone apps picfx, CameraBag, FancyFilters, and Infinicam as well as Adobe Photoshop on my Mac to adjust the images and put this project together.
